To boast about the interiors of this restaurant would be a downside for the highlight (read: Foodelicious treat) of this huge cafe style restaurant, so for this review my rating will be based solely on the food and service. I have read mixed reviews about the service here where majority say that their service is dull. So, going by some foodies, I wasn't expecting anything great with the service, but was came across was a surprise. Their service was good if not friendly, precise if not warm.
Our order was a simple one:
Mixed Mezza (appetizers) - Small
Chicken Shawarma Plate
2 x Mixed Fruit Cocktail
The Mixed Mezza was packed in a platter with 8 different entrees of the Arab Cuisine. The hummus which was a smooth creamy mash yet keeping the wonderful essence of chickpeas - was perfect. The Mutabbal - how well the Eggplant was blended with their spices to form a delicious appetizer of my favorite Arabic starter, it was beyond words. There was an olive salad which played well with the Labneh and the Chili Labneh. There were two more dishes with Eggplants as the base and they were great too. What I really liked was the Chili Salad - if you like heat, you would love this little spicy delight. I tried different combinations of these with the Turkish Bread and they worked well each time, I highly recommend you order one of these at your visit. They are available in different sizes. We ordered the small one.
I would give it 4 out of 5 (ambiance not counted),
