Guess what, I did exactly the same at The Butcher Shop and Grill when I visited them over the weekend.
Since it was my first time here, I insisted on help from my server Mr. Moideen (the most helpful and knowledgeable server so far I have come across). He suggested we order Sticky Chicken Wings for starters. Our main course comprised of the Rump/ Top Sirloin (QR 82) and Slow Roasted Lamb (QR 78). For the
drinks, we had a usual of Strawberry Daiquiri and Chocolate Milkshake.
Waiting for our order and munching on the complimentary snacks, we also chit chatted with the server in detail over delicious freshly baked bread served to us appropriately with butter, anchovies and pesto sauce. It’s worth mentioning the beef sausage dipped in Shashlik sauce – part of the compliments was too good to relish. One can’t get enough of it.
The ranges of sauces were – Steak Sauce, Ketchup, Wholegrain Mustard sauce and Dijon Mustard.
The Slow Roasted Lamb was an Australian lamb de-boned leg rolled and roasted slowly, with herbs and mint gravy with boiled baby potatoes and caramelized onions. Succulent pieces of lamb also gobbled up this time only to fill us up to the brim with loads of food and happiness.
I would give The Butcher Shop and Grill 5 out of 5.

P.S.: A special mention for our server Mr. Moideen (do ask for him at your visit) and their branded wet wipes. It’s these little things that set a place apart from the rest.
