Hummus with meat and pine nuts
1 mixed BBQ platter
With the addition of,
Arabic chicken shawarma (that's what they call it)
As a tradition, Khubs was served to us in no time but they were far too cold to be eaten. When requested, they politely changed them and got us fresh warm ones. And, along with it came the hummus and mutabbal.
The mutabbal fell bland and tasteless but
the hummus was a treat loaded with succulent meat and pine nuts of course drizzled with olive oil.
At this point, we asked for more Khubs and they didn't have anymore the warm ones, their bakery was closed when it was only 10:30 p.m. Considering they close by midnight, that was a bit of disappointment there.
I would give it 3 out of 5. (All for the shawarma and hummus)
P.S.: I'll go back to try the duck shawarma which I find quite interesting.
